Rebellious Business sees monumental growth in just 4 months

Since its launch at the start of the Covid-19 lockdown, virtual networking group Rebellious Business has seen over £45,000 in sales and has over 400 new members from a wide range of industries.

With many people turning to online courses and coaches to keep themselves sane, the online Rebellious community allows members to get to know each other, offering a network of support and collaboration that has proved crucial during these unprecedented times.

The innovative founder of Rebellious Business, Cordelia Kate said: “A couple of weeks before lockdown, all of the networking groups and the big conferences were being cancelled, so I decided to start Rebellious Business and The Rebellious Network to keep business owners connected through the coming months of social distancing. My premise was that social distancing does NOT mean social disconnection.”

The seamless launch of the business was due to Cordelia’s experience running online webinars and coaching for many years. She continues: “I only advertised it for 3 days on social media and we had 20 businesses respond to our first call. Since then, the community has grown to over 400 businesses and we are still growing rapidly month on month.” Cordelia knows that the business will continue to grow even when the pandemic has eased. The network is free to join and is open and inclusive to all business owners in the service-based/expert industry who wish to become a member.

Despite the struggles that the pandemic has placed on businesses, Rebellious Business members have been able to continue to source clients from inside the network and use the Facebook group to promote their business.

Rebellious in business is about being the most wild and extreme version of yourself as a business owner. Rebellious Business believes YOU are the major USP your online business has! The fastest way to build a brand, attract followers and gain clients is to let them know, like and trust you.

The Rebellious Business Network takes pride in being a genuine online community whose members communicate with each other to foster useful learning.

Recognising that there has been an incredible shift in which online business will be considered the new normal, Cordelia has thrived by going above and beyond to help people run successful online businesses.

She says: “We have all sorts of business owners from graphic designers to yoga teachers and everything in-between. Alongside the fun networking and collaborating, we have a Spotlight speaker to bring our networkers some tactical tricks and tips.” These speakers vary each week, with previous examples being a LinkedIn specialist, PR Guru, a camera confidence coach and a digital marketing specialist.

With many of their networkers describing The Rebellious Business Network as a mid-week pick-me-up, Cordelia has undoubtedly provided a silver lining amongst a strange and tough time.
